???A Forma da Água???, de Guillermo del Toro, lidera as indicações no cinema, concorrendo sete vezes, incluindo melhor filme de drama, melhor atriz, melhor diretor, e melhor roteiro.
???The Post: A Guerra Secreta??? e ???Três Anúncios para um Crime??? empatam em segundo lugar com seis indicações cada.
Nas categorias de televisão, ???Big Little Lies???, que acabou de ser renovada para uma segunda temporada, domina com seis indicações, com Nicole Kidman e Reese Whitherspoon concorrendo como protagonistas, e Laura Dern e Shailene Woodley como coadjuvantes.
???Feud: Bette e Joan??? tem quatro indicações, enquanto ???This Is Us???, ???Fargo??? e ???The Handmaid???s Tale??? concorrem em três categorias cada.
Uma indicação interessante é a de Christopher Plummer, como melhor ator coadjuvante pelo filme ???All The Money In The World???. O filme foi enviado à associação na data limite, pois Kevin Spacey foi expulso da produção após as denúncias de assédio sexual contra ele, e Plummer precisou regravar todas as cenas do colega há poucas semanas, e mesmo assim conseguiu a indicação.
Angelina Jolie está concorrendo com o filme ???First They Killed My Father???, como representante do Camboja na categoria de melhor filme estrangeiro.
Mariah Carey está concorrendo na categoria de canção original, com a música ???The Star??? para a animação natalina ???A Estrela de Belém???. Nick Jonas concorre na mesma categoria com ???Home???, de ???O Touro Ferdinando???.
